I trained the long way round — apprenticing under barbers who measured a good cut in millimetres and a good chair-side manner in decades. What stuck with me wasn't a signature style. It was the discipline: sharpen your tools, listen before you cut, and never finish a head you wouldn't be proud to see in the street.
The shop on Campion Street is small on purpose. That means no rushing, no double-booking, and no cutting corners. When you sit down, you have my full attention — the consultation, the cut, the finish, and the time to actually get it right.
I take pride in the quiet parts of the job. The clean neckline you can't see without a mirror. The blend that grows out properly instead of falling apart in a fortnight. The conversation, or the silence, depending on the day you're having.

Every appointment starts with a proper conversation. What are you growing out? What are you fighting? How do you style it in the morning? The cut is downstream of that.
Clippers, scissors, straight razor — whichever the head needs. I finish everything by hand. Nothing leaves the chair until it looks right from every angle.
